GardenSmart Volunteer Team
Are you interested in gardening? Looking for an opportunity to get involved in your community and help
the environment in a way that really makes a difference?
Why not join the GardenSmart Volunteer Team.
Volunteer Opportunities
Since 1994, hundreds of people have given their time to environmental education through the North Shore Recycling Program's highly respected volunteer program. Today the program has evolved into one that focuses around natural gardening and pesticide reduction. Volunteers are needed to assist with single-day events and GardenSmart Spring Workshops.
Volunteer Commitment
Volunteers can be involved as little or as much as they like. They can choose whether they would like to be involved in a long-term project or if they would like to help out with one-of events like a workshop (or two).
Getting Involved - Process & Guidelines
Because our needs change and our program schedules are seasonal, opportunities
for volunteers also change throughout the year.
Volunteering opportunities are generally available between early spring and late fall.
Unfortunately, however, the NSRP cannot accommodate all requests for volunteering.
If you would like to join the GardenSmart Volunteer Team please call 604.984.9730 or email us
to book an appointment with the Volunteer Coordinator.
Thanks for your interest in volunteering!
