Watering

Water deeply, about an inch, every 10 days (put a tuna can on the lawn to measure how long this takes for your sprinkler).

Watering too frequently can cause shallow, unhealthy root systems. Watering less frequently means that grass plants have to send their roots down further in search of water – this encourages stronger, deeper root systems and a healthier grass plants!
